Digital LiteracyThis is a featured page

Teaching students about digital literacy is important for all educators.
In this section of this wiki I am hoping to build a Recourse Bank of tools, lessons and links for Business and other teachers of Computer science or any subject area to help explain what digital literacy is and how we can help our students to evaluate and think about information they are seeing using critical thinking skills rather than blindly accepting everything they see on the Internet as 100% true and valid.

If you have lessons, videos, thoughts, please add them below!

Video: Google Search Tips
Here is an excellent presentation from Jeff Utecht's The thinking Stick about how to use google
Educators need to know and students need to be aware of the capabilities.
The video also raises some questions, and conversation:
Some teachers may be surprised at how my information is now out there on the Internet and that they need to redesign lessons so that students are creating and evaluating new material no just presenting a ppt (for example) as their own.
